Phoenix Contact’s spring clamp terminal features a small, powerful contact with consistent and stable contact behavior and maximum terminal space. The use of highly tensile stainless spring steel in conjunction with galvanized copper current bars ensures low contact resistance. In addition, the new mini spring terminal blocks comprises terminal blocks comprises terminals for horizontal (MSBV) and vertical (MSB) conductor connection, for NS 15 and NS 35 rails as well as versions with double connection, (MSDB), snap-on foot (-RZ) and screw fix (-F). The standard Phoenix Contact modular terminal blocks are approved and labeled for use in potentially explosive areas. With railways standard EN 50 155 and are suitable for use in safety applications subject to vibrations.

The highly resistant insulation material Polyimide 6.6 is inflammable and fulfills the highest requirements of classification V0 in acc. With UL 94.

Product Range

All spring-cage terminals from the ST range are compact in size and provide low pitches. Phoenix Contact’s spring-cage terminal blocks are available for nominal conductor cross sections range is from 0.08 to 35 mm2. There are two- three- and four-wire terminals with one or more level for cable cross-sections of up to 4 mm2. In addition with numerous multiple level spring-cage terminal blocks, the fuse and disconnect terminal blocks, are available with comprehensive range of accessories.

Due to the maximum connection space, ST spring-cage terminal blocks enable fast wiring of stranded and solid conductors and this applies of nominal cross section and preassembled ferrule.
